When Did I Grow Up

Typography & Poster Design

  • This project explores when I actually “grew up.” It’s a personal reflection on my shift from childhood creativity and curiosity to the stress of school, work, and financial responsibility. The poster features a grayed-out city with fading color to represent the loss of creativity and childlike wonder over time. To build the typography, I experimented with different toys and materials before landing on a LEGO-inspired typeface, connecting back to childhood in a more subtle way. Overall, I realized that growing up is a gradual process, reflected in this work.
